Assistant Support Manager
Ref: 1776 – 39 hour post
£18,392 to £20,913 per annum
Inspire provide a wide range of services for people with learning disabilities and additional support needs throughout the North-east of Scotland. Working with the vision of empowering the life choices of the people we support, our services include 24-hour support, visiting support, skills development in relation to employment, respite care and innovative day opportunities.
An opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Support Manager to join 2 of our Aberdeen City services. At these services the people we support reside in a shared living environment where they have their own bedrooms and bathrooms but the kitchen and living areas are all shared.
The Assistant Support Manager will:
Work with teams and Regional Managers to meet the expectations of the people we support and ensure continuous quality improvement in relation to both internal and external standards
Adhere to all relevant policies, procedures and legislation as well as the SSSC Codes of Practice
Work in accordance with Inspire’s Vision, Mission and Core Values
Work in conjunction with the Support Manager and other internal parties to seek opportunities to improve quality of life for the people we support
Level 3 SVQ in Care/Management is desirable but not essential. This post will include evening and weekend work in accordance with the needs of the service. This post will involve being part of an on call rota.
