Ref: 1779 – ADHOC Relief hours available
£8.45 per hour, in line with Scottish Living Wage
Opportunities have arisen to join our team at our service located in Pitmedden. We support one gentleman in his home. This is a completely lone working service due to the gentleman not being able to cope with 2 people in his home. There is a sleepover room within the house for staff.
Staff require to support the person with personal care, cooking, cleaning, toileting, finances and medication. Staff drive and drop off the person to his day centre 4 days a week. On days off, when the person we support doesn’t go to his day centre, staff support the person to a farm, go on walks, get a magazine with toys etc.
Medication, cleaning and finances are a daily responsibility for members of staff. This post will include evening and weekend work in accordance with the needs of the service.
Some of the challenges the people we support face include epilepsy, non-verbal communication, risk of choking and autism.
Due to the remote location of the service it is essential for candidates to have a drivers license suitable to use in the UK.
Inspire offer a fantastic induction and training matrix’s tailored to our service needs which is available to all our staff and require mandatory participation.
Opportunities will be subject to receipt of satisfactory references, membership of the PVG Scheme & registration to the SSSC.
